Updated: Oct 8, 2020

Looking for a Beautifully British Seaside Holiday with a difference? Why not rent out your very own beach hut and listen to the crashing of the waves and wake up with that fresh sea breeze through the windows - the summer isn’t over just yet! The Lifestyle Guide brings you our top 9 as part of our Last of The Summer Inspiration.

Only an hour and a half from London you will find the point where the beautiful New Forest meets the The Solent, and you can now stay in a luxury hut actually on the Calshot Beach - Opening your doors straight onto the sand! Sleeping five people, the bespoke furniture has been created from birch wood, installing a warm yet natural feel.

Located on a West Sussex coastal path reaching 7 miles, these huts are self-contained and have the feel of a ‘Great British Hut’, reminiscent of those bucket and spade days we all know and love. With four huts to choose from, sleeping a family of 4 each, this is the perfect solution for larger groups, or families looking to staycation together. Set slightly back from the beautiful pebble beach, the huts have their own private terrace spaces, drawing in plenty of light through the glass wall doors.

This hut is just a stone’s throw from the waters edge, and provides an idyllic setting all year round. The luxury boutique feel is accompanied by the traditional English seaside decorations to make a perfect hideaway for a romantic getaway. Packed with all of the modern day living essentials, but retaining the unique charm, this hut sleeps up to four guests, with a generously sized living area designed with great flair and attention to detail.

This classic hotel offers a different type of accommodation, in the way of their rooms Harry's Hut and The Pig Hut. The huts are hidden away from the main house, situated at the bottom of the grounds garden, with a fantastic sea view across Studland Bay. The huts are utilised together, with one providing a place to stay for the night, and the other your bathroom facilities. As always out "Top Tip" when booking leisure accommodation is to always read the feedback and reviews on websites like Tripadvisor so you have some idea of what to expect and what to look out for before booking.
