It's no secret that you can look after yourself AND do your best to look after the environment too. Although it can sometimes feel a little scary changing from a product that you've used for years to something new, here at The Lifestyle Guide we'd like you just to consider a switch, a switch that could help not only your skin but also the planet.
Here are a few of our favourite beauty brands and products that promote sustainability, eco-friendly, zero waste, cruelty-free ingredients, reusable and recyclable.
If every single person makes a small change, big things can happen.. So are you ready? Lets go!
Make Up Removers
We all have our own face cleansing rituals throughout the day (and night) to make us feel refreshed and super clean, to wake yourself up, after a workout, after a day at work with a face full of make-up.
Switch: To Face Halo
Ditch: The facewipes and single use cotton pads
What is it?
The new cult beauty makeup remover that professional makeup artists, celebrities and people worldwide can’t live without. Using only water, Face Halo traps and removes makeup for a deep clean and gentle exfoliation. No need to rub or scrub - simply wet your Face Halo and gently wipe off your makeup. For heavier eye makeup, rehydrate your Face Halo (with water) and hold it on the eyes or eyelashes for an extra 5-10 seconds.
How is it sustainable?
Face Halo’s award-winning makeup remover is dual-sided and reusable, replacing up to 500 traditional makeup wipes – Quick, Easy, Clean. THEN, when its feeling a little shabby - wash it and send it back, Face Halo will take care of the recycling for you!
