The Top 10 Non-Alcoholic drinks that make you 'Feel Fancy’ has a selection of drinks that you would happily bring along to a dinner party, drinks on a Friday night with friends or even to an elegant tea party! This list includes sparkling tea (wait..what?) non-alcoholic spirits, beers and delicious mocktails - something for everyone!
The latest evolution on their 312 year tea history, the Fortnum & Mason's Sparkling Tea is a certified organic blend of their famous and rare brews and despite its celebration-ready appearance, it contains zero alcohol. With complex flavours and remarkable layers, notes of tropical fruits on the nose precede a palate of lemongrass, water mint and Darjeeling, leading into drier tannins and a long-lasting hint of jasmine on the finish. The light and refreshing tipple is best enjoyed chilled, and is a perfect pairing for Fortnum’s Organic Smoked Salmon, Fortnum’s Paté and Fortnum’s Melton Mowbray Pork Pie.
Sparking Tea is a new concept to me. However, I purchased this Fortnum and Mason’s as a gift for a teetotaller relative, and it did not disappoint.
Enjoy in a Champagne flute to create a wonderful "I Feel Fancy" experience!
UK based Saicho was created by husband and wife team Charlie and Natalie Winkworth-Smith. Charlie and Natalie have always had a passion for food and drink. However, Natalie can't drink alcohol (she turns as red as a tomato with even the smallest sip) so hasn't been able to fully enjoy the experience of food and wine pairing.
Wanting to create non-alcoholic drinks that could pair well with food, Charlie and Natalie turned to tea. After two years of testing hundreds of different teas from around the world, they chose their first three teas; carefully selected to pair well with food.
Each tea is cold brewed for twenty four hours to extract the most delicate and complex flavours from the tea leaves. The teas are then finely balanced with a hint of sweetness and a dash of acidity. As a finishing touch, sparkling the drink enhances the flavour of the tea. Here's where the "fancy" comes in!
This is the perfect alcohol alternative to Champagne! The Customer Reviews all rave about Saicho's delicious products.
The hottest new trend has just got even better. Real Kombucha began in early 2016 when founder David Begg, gave up drinking but still wanted a delicious wine to pair with his great food. It was love at first sip when a friend introduced him to kombucha, Begg knew he had found a perfect alternative. One of the two drinks offered is the Royal Flush, the winner of Best No & Low Wine or Alternative and Sommeliers' Choice No & Low Award 2020. Described as 'our Champagne, a very regal brew' it is definitely one to try.
The tea is richly fragrant and creates a brew that is fresh and floral. They add nothing, but the tea alone develops notes of rhubarb, white peach and a touch of blackcurrant. The fruit and spice flavours round out the acids to make it soft and delicate.

A cocktail that caught my eye is the
‘Soft Porn Martini’, a very clever take on the popular cocktail with a similar name. For this cocktail they suggest a 35ml shot of their ‘Livener’. 75ml passion-fruit juice, 25ml pomegranate juice and 1 fresh passion-fruit.
The range consists of The Party Starter ‘Livener’ to kick-start the night, which is filled with ‘vibrant berries, bright aromatics and heat for a lively, euphoric feeling’. The Mood Booster, ‘Social Elixir’, is a ‘social-enhancer containing powerful plants with powerful flavour. Bittersweet with a curious savoury bite!’ Last but not least, ‘The Dream Maker’, to wind down the evening in style, with ingredients such as lemon balm, valerian and hops for a dreamy, relaxed feeling being smug knowing you’ll wake up fresh! Founded in London. Hand crafted & batched in the UK.

This story started when Matthew Jukes and Jack Hollihan started musing about the lack of seriously rewarding, non-alcoholic drinks available. This journey ended with the creation of Jukes – a series of drinks that do everything that wine does on the nose, palate and finish but without any alcohol involved and employing extremely low calories.
Perfect for those non-drinkers that fancy a glass of wine.
