One of London's best, QT Toys is a family run toy and games shop in Wandsworth. Started in 1983, the store is an asset to the local community, with many locals growing up with QT and remembering it fondly from their childhood.
Many of these are regular customers still to this day, now bringing along their children to experience the same magic and joy that they did when they were young. As well as the regulars, they have others who hold special memories and stories of the shop and return after several years, even decades to experience this once again in this fascinating place. Generations will continue to bring younger generations to the store to meet the friendly shop owners and scour the aisle for the perfect gifts and toys for all.
Everything instore has been carefully selected by the owners, as they hold great relationships with their customers they know all the right things on their wish lists. The personal service makes this shop extra special. They handpick items they know customers will love and take into consideration the quality of the toys and their educational value to ensure they are providing the best out there. Although they admit it can be hard to resist ordering squishy poos every now and then as it seems they appear surprisingly high up as a most wanted item.
The atmosphere of the shop is always filled with happiness and laughter, and friends in the community are often bumping into each other as they enjoy this little gem that they are so lucky to have on their high street. The shop really is at the centre of it all and has received a great amount of support locally as we start to appreciate the local brands and businesses that we know and love. Northcote Road is home to an array of interesting eateries as well as unique shops and galleries to explore, this vibrant community has it all.
The local community have a place in their hearts for their local toy shop and grateful to have QT on their doorsteps. They even recently received a warming thanksgiving card from one of their tinier customers which makes them proud to be a part of it all, creating memories and stories for little children to grow up and pass on.
