Our determination to still go out and enjoy ourselves but adhere to social distancing has caused a welcome revamp of the popular 1920’s American outdoor screening. With pop-ups throughout the UK we now consider it the number one thing to do in our ‘new normal’ way of life. Drive-in’s can be found in some rather stunning settings and also your local car park but there are plenty to choose from.
Everyone has heard about Grease as a must-see to really feel the nostalgia and we love to sing along but there are many new releases as well as the cult classics to be enjoyed. NHS workers lookout as most companies are offering free or discounted tickets as a thank you for your hard work and contribution.

As one of our Founders grew up in Battersea, we couldn't NOT include this one! Running until 20th September this open-air event will feature performances from The Turbine Theatre and screening’s from boutique cinema operator, Archlight Cinema, both of which can usually be found under the iconic railway arches in Circus West Village.

The Lifestyle Guide is super excited about the UK wide tour throughout the rest of this year which will be set up in local car parks. It's (almost) guaranteed accessible to you and if not, they accept nominations for your town to be visited next. Showings of a mixture of films including classic Toy Story for the kids and the latest 2019 release of the Joker which seems to be a trend this year. If this isn't enough! A smaller more intimate show that usually takes place in rural Cambridge has just launched additional drive-in locations. All screening our favourite cult classics and the latest blockbusters including Rocket Man and Pretty Woman. Be prepared to get involved with quizzes and even car bingo to entertain you and your passengers. Tickets for 2 people per car from £25 per with additional passengers at £4.
Cambridge, Reading and Suffolk - September & October Dates Available
We are bringing back the magic and experiencing the nostalgia of The Drive in. With additional live shows and entertainment including comedy nights and music straight through to your car radio. Grab some classic movie snacks and American style food delivered straight to your car door. We will be beeping our horns along to the opening of La La Land, see you there. Tickets from £35 per car.
Enfield - September Dates Available
Inspired by the All American Vintage theme and the biggest outdoor cinema in West London, Sunset cinema offers an all-round experience with an American style diner menu as an accompaniment. We're voting Sunset Cinema for the best lineup this year and will be watching A Star is Born for the 17th time as well as taking the family to see Space Jam. Just sit back and recline your car seats with popcorn and the windows down. Tickets for 2 people per car from £55 per with additional passengers at £15.
Twyford Avenue Sports Ground (London) - September Dates Available
Set up by the same team behind Rooftop Film Club, a popular London cinema experience. The Drive-In Film Club is set in the stunning grounds of the palace which is expected to be lit up at night during your film. You can bring your own snacks or indulge in the plant-based hotdog stall, Popdogs, that are available for delivery to your car door (THE DREAM). We can’t wait to cosy up in our car with a blanket enjoying the bromance of our favourites, Shrek & Donkey. Tickets are £27.50 per car.
Alexandra Palace - September Dates Available
Previously known for their open-air cinemas, Luna have taken on the new venture with flying colours in some of their usual stunning spots including the incredible grounds of Warwick Castle. Onsite they offer contactless food and drink delivery and to keep with the American-style theme, orders will be brought to your car by waitresses on roller skates and scooters, The Lifestyle Guide will be ordering pizza and a Retro Box of sweets (TICK). Tickets for 2 people per car from £40 per with additional passengers at £5.

Purposefully named to sound like our favourite streaming service, The Nightflix Drive-in is offering the cinema experience as well as live music tribute acts. Food and drinks are available but you are also welcome to bring your own picnic. We are plucking up the courage to go scary with A Nightmare on Elm Street and we will probably regret our decision when we attempt a solo journey to the loos later on that night. Tickets are £27 per car.
Colchester and Newark - September Dates Available
