Started by John Cadbury in 1824, the luxury ethical chocolate company Love Cocoa creates the most delicious artisan treats. The family-run business uses the finest South American cacao in their chocolate and decided to take a turn towards more ethical produce in 1866 after the purchase of a refinery machine made a revolutionary turn for the company. The refining process allowed them to make chocolate without the nastiness and instead to its purest form to be enjoyed by chocolate lovers.
You can shop Love Cocoa for chocolate bars, chocolate truffles, hot chocolate and chocolate hampers and the have clearly labelled vegan-friendly products too. They also offer a monthly subscription service in which you can choose your own selection or can opt for a surprise package instead to be delivered straight through your letterbox. The best part is that they plant a tree for every product sold, and in 2020 alone planted 500,000 trees in Cameroon. They are continuing to plant trees by the many and are well on their way to becoming a certified carbon neutral company too.
